Meet Our Customer Support Team! Chicago Swim School wouldn't be the same without the smiling faces greeting you at the front desk. Here's a little bit about each of them!

Mokena
‣Cynthia has been part of the CSS family since 2022, and our families light up when they see her. She's great at getting 5 Star Reviews!
‣Rylie wears a lot of hats around here, you might catch her teaching a lesson, helping on deck, or helping you at the front desk.
‣Jarazet greets every family with a big smile, and as a swim mom herself (her two kids swim with us!), she truly gets it.
‣Jennifer is currently on leave celebrating the arrival of her first baby. We can't wait to have her back. Congrats, Jennifer!
‣Ryan splits his time between both locations when he's not at his full-time job with Jackrabbit, our CRM partner.

Arlington Heights
‣Viv is our most recognized team member, and it's easy to see why. She teaches, helps on deck, and runs the front desk, all with a smile every time.

Attendance is one of the biggest keys to progress in the pool. 🏊‍♀️

Here's why coming to every lesson matters:

✅ Skills build on each other week to week, missing a lesson means missing a building block
✅ Our Progress Guarantee is built around regular attendance, every new skill is designed for a swimmer who's there each week
✅ Confidence in the water grows with practice, and practice only happens when you're in the pool

If a lesson time isn't working, let us know! We're always happy to help you find a schedule that fits so your swimmer never misses a lesson.

Congratulations to Nour and Brooklyn, our September Swimmers of the Month!

Coach Rylie on Nour: "She's so sweet and funny and always comes to swim class with a smile on her face, ready to go."

Coach Emma on Brooklyn: "She comes in early to chat with the staff and ask questions about what she needs to work on before class, so she's ready right when she gets in! She's super friendly to everyone in her class and cheers them on every lap!"

We're so proud of both of you and honored to be part of your swim journey.

New school year, same swim goal! Homework, activities, and swim lessons all landing on the calendar at once? Here's how our families make it work:

✅ Treat swim lessons like a fixed appointment, not something to skip when the week gets busy
✅ Bring a book or homework folder for siblings to use while they wait
✅ Turn the car ride to and from lessons into study time (spelling words, multiplication facts, whatever's due)
✅ A good grade and a new swim skill both deserve a celebration

Swimming keeps kids active and gives their brain a break, something that pays off back in the classroom too. 💙

🎉 It's giveaway time! From Sunday, August 30th through Saturday, September 5th, we want to see your swimmer in action!

Swim skills travel! 🌏

Coach Jamie spent part of her summer island hopping in Siargao, Philippines with her family. She couldn't resist showing off one of our favorite skills right from the boat: Magic Water Backfloat!

Our students learn this exact skill. It's Skill #6 in our Red level (with a little help from their instructor) and Skill #5 in Pink, where swimmers float all on their own, just like Coach Jamie did.

The backfloat is one of the most important skills a swimmer can have. It helps kids rest, breathe, and stay calmer and safer in the water.

Our CSS team knows how to make the most of summer! Take a look at what some of our amazing staff members got up to over the past few months:

🏹 Harley spent time practicing archery at the Bristol Renaissance Faire.

🇮🇹 Shay spent three weeks in Italy, learning about the history, culture, and language, and picking up a few lessons about leadership and herself along the way. Here she is at the Colosseum, built almost 2,000 years ago in 74 AD!

🇵🇭 Jamie traveled to the Philippines and explored Davao with extended family and friends. Highlights included a stop at a nature park to see the Philippine eagle up close and a trip to Jollibee, a beloved Filipino fast food favorite.

🪷 Ana caught lotus flowers in bloom for the first time this summer, one of her favorite moments of the season.

🎣 Coach Emma, Sebastian, and Viv spent their summer outdoors, fishing and swimming!

We love seeing our team enjoy their summer as much as our swimmers enjoy the pool! 💙
