And with our girls state wrestlers done, that’s a wrap on Saints Wrestling 2026!
What a season for the Saints. From our youngest wrestlers stepping on the mat for the first time, to our middle school athletes battling through a full season, to multiple qualifiers competing on the state stage, this year was about growth, toughness, and building something special.
We had over 80 athletes across our Pre-K through 8th grade levels. Practices were full, energy was high, and the commitment to getting better showed every single week. From first takedowns to first wins, from learning how to compete to learning how to respond to adversity, this group took major steps forward.
Our youth and middle school teams competed hard all season long, hosting meets, traveling together, and representing the Saints with pride. And when it mattered most, we had athletes step up and qualify for state, something many wrestlers spend years working toward. Watching our wrestlers compete on that stage, battle through wins and losses, and handle it with composure and grit was something special.
To our state qualifiers and competitors, Aiden, Rowen, Charlotte, and Caroline, your efforts set the standard. You showed what it means to prepare, to believe, and to step into big moments.
But this season wasn’t just about wins and losses. It was about culture.
It was about showing up.
It was about doing hard things.
It was about faith, discipline, and being part of something bigger than yourself.
We saw teammates supporting each other, older wrestlers leading younger ones, and families stepping up to help make everything run. That’s what makes this program strong.
To my fellow coaches—thank you for your time, energy, and commitment.
To our parents and families—thank you for trusting us with your kids and supporting this program in every way.
To our wrestlers—thank you for the effort, attitude, and heart you brought every day.
The standard is set. The foundation is growing. And we’re just getting started.
