Hello all ye 'Disc Golf Enthusiasts' !! I really want to be able to do the WACC Ball & Chain again this year! I have been telling everyone for a couple months and now is the time to sign up! Registration has been open since August 1st and I'd love to have some people sign up!! It's always a great time!

We do a scramble format, (4) person teams, (2) rounds of disc, one from the longs and one from the shorts, and we also do (9) holes of golf, combine the scores, and see who comes out victorious!!

We feed everyone and hand out trophies and merch, free play passes, and whatever else we can think of doing!

We had a first, here at the Golf Course!!!

We are happy to have been able to participate in a wonderful event this past Saturday!!

After playing a round of golf, on the 9th green Calen Erskine got down on one knee and romantically proposed marriage to Crystal Love!!! SHE SAID "YES"!! CONGRATULATIONS!!!!!!

Please congratulate them the next time you see them out and about!! What a wonderful couple and we are so very happy for them!! Several of us were able to see it unfold and it was amazing. We are so happy for them!! Pass the word!

We want to thank everyone who participated in raising these funds for our First Responders in need. We had a great turnout for our golf tournament and many generous donations of raffle items as well as business sponsors. Our thoughts and prayers remain with all who continue to struggle in unimaginable ways with this tragedy. Our hearts go out you. I have a couple things that are coming up right away and wanted to remind everyone of them.

First, the 'Mitchell Philbrook Scholarship Fund' tournament is coming up on Saturday, September 12th. In order for everyone involved to be able to be prepared for this huge event, we need a few things from the participants. IF YOU ARE PLAYING ON A TEAM IN THE SCRAMBLE THAT DAY, WE NEED YOUR ENTRY FEE FOR THE TEAM (EACH PLAYER) , PAID BY AUGUST 21ST !!!!! NO LATER THAN THE END OF THAT DAY.

Next, if you are a sponsor for this tournament, we need your fee paid by that same day, AUGUST 21ST, BY THE END OF THAT DAY. That is LESS than 2 weeks away. If you are a new sponsor, or previous sponsor that is changing things up, we will need your logo OR the words that are to be written on your sign or banner by August 28th of this month. That will be end of day on that Friday.

We really appreciate the huge support you all bring in support of Mitchell's memory, and your willingness and ability to help others through this wonderful day and scholarship fund. We want to thank you from the bottom of our hearts!

We will once again be having our annual 'WACC Ball & Chain' on Saturday, September 26th. Right now I have it posted on 'The Disc Golf Scene' and you are able to sign up for this (4) person scramble. It has traditionally been (9) holes of golf and (36) holes of disc golf. They are both played in a scramble format, combining the scores at the end to see who comes out with the lowest score!!

We will be feeding everyone and handing out trophies and prizes. We would love to see everyone here!! We have room for at least (12) 4 person teams. Please make sure to sign up in advance so that I am able to be best prepared.

I WANTED TO REMIND EVERYONE OF OUR UPCOMING EVENTS!!!!! I AM GOING TO REPOST WHAT IS HAPPENING THIS WEEK, FRIDAY/SATURDAY: Please consider donating Raffle Items or putting in a team to play in the Friday EVENT to benefit the families affected by the Robbins Lumber fire.

WACC will be hosting a Public Gathering/Golf Tournament FRIDAY July 17th at 10 am followed by Raffles, Golf Games, Live Music and Hot dogs/Pot luck Food starting around 4 Pm. Please come by and sigh or make a personal note in our Registry of Support for the Robbins Family and all of the Families affected by this tragedy.
We have open spots for teams to join. Please reach out to me if you are interested. Golf will start at 10 Am

WACC will be hosting a Public Gathering /Golf Tournament FRIDAY July 17th to support our First Responders Injured in the Robbins Mill Fire. We will have a golf tournament at 10Am followed from 4 PM to 10 Pm with Raffles, Golf Games, Live Music and Hot dogs/ Pot Luck Food. Please come by and sign or make a special note in our Registry of Support for the Robbins Family and all of the Families effected by this Tragedy.

We are looking for Raffle items and Business sponsors to help generate proceeds for this event.

Hot dogs will be provided but please bring a dish for potluck if you are able.

Golf Games in the afternoon / evening will include Put challenges, chip challenges and closest to the pin shots among other things. There may be some co****le games as well.

Raffles all day and Live Music (after 4) will be open to the public

ALL PROCEEDS WILL GO DIRECTLY TO THE BURN VICTIM FAMILIES OF ROBBINS MILL FIRE.
