Marley Alcantara and Jonathan Perez represented Special Olympics Northern California during the Project Play Summit held at UC Berkeley on March 25th. They shared their positive experiences while playing with Pitt Unify. Their stories provided an insightful discussion on the importance of Unified Sports. They shared experiences which allowed the audience to appreciate the importance of social inclusion through sports and the impact for students on and off the field. Great job Marley and Jonathan!! The Project Play Summit focuses on the intersection of sports, education, and the community. It brings together leaders and advocates to discuss and explore the role of sports in promoting youth development, well-being, and social justice.
