๐ŸŽ‰ Meet Our New Coach, CJ! ๐Ÿ™Œ

Hi, Iโ€™m Charles, but most people call me CJ.

My fitness journey started early through sports, including basketball, track, and football. I was introduced to the weight room in high school, where I learned not only the value of training but also the importance of having great coaches, mentors, and teammates around you. That experience showed me how much the people you surround yourself with can influence your growth and success.

Coming from a military family, I spent some time in Texas before moving to Europe. While living in Germany, I developed a deeper appreciation for the health and lifestyle side of fitness. I learned that exercise is only part of the equationโ€”what you put into your body, staying active outside of scheduled workouts, and building healthy habits all play a major role in long-term success.

I also believe that fitness is better when you have a supportive community around you. Having people who encourage, challenge, and celebrate your progress can make all the difference. An active lifestyle is important, but an interactive one is just as valuable.

A few fun facts about me:
๐Ÿˆ I have a black cat named Knix.
๐ŸŽฌ Iโ€™m a big fan of movies and books.
๐ŸŽฎ Iโ€™m currently working on an indie game with some friends.
๐Ÿƒ I enjoy walking, running, and, most importantly... food. Especially food.

High Point Fitness here and we have a challenge for you ๐Ÿ˜Š The Murph Challenge!! And it's taking place this Saturday at 9am with NO COST to you!!

Just show up and be ready to have fun!

What is the MURPH you ask?

1 mile run/jog/walk (around the building)

100 pull-ups

200 push-ups

300 squats

1 mile run/jog/walk (around the building)

And everything that is on that list can, indeed be modified. Pull ups can be assisted. Push-ups can be done on the knees, or chest presses even. Squats, well there are a ton of ways to modify that as well. So Do. Not. Underestimate. YOURSELF ๐ŸŽ‰๐ŸŽ‰๐ŸŽ‰ You Got This!!!
