We’d like to introduce our new director of the AHSDT program, Courtney Dankert! 🤍

After graduating from Pleasant Valley High School in 2015, she spent 4 years representing the Iowa State Dance Team, both as a member and captain. After college, she spent one year back home volunteer coaching for the Pleasant Valley High School Dance Team. She then moved to Des Moines and spent one year as an Assistant Coach for the Waukee High School Dance Team. She now lives in Ankeny and is so excited to have the opportunity to be the Head Coach of AHSDT!

Outside of coaching, Courtney is a 7th grade math teacher at Prairie Ridge Middle School, as well as a dance instructor at a local dance studio. She can’t wait to work with the 33 amazing dancers that are on the team this year!

We’d like to introduce our new Assistant Coach, Faith Vinzant! 🤍

Faith graduated from Ankeny High School where she spent 3 years on AHSDT. During college, she studied Elementary Education and spent 4 years representing the Iowa State Dance Team, both as a member and captain. Since graduating college she has been both an assistant and volunteer coach with AHSDT. This will be her 4th season as a coach with the Ankeny Dance Team program!

When she’s not coaching, Faith loves to spend time with her husband Trey and daughter Breckyn. They look forward to growing their family and welcoming another baby girl this July! She is so excited to see all that the dancers are going to accomplish this season!
