Honoring Juneteenth 💚

Today we observe Juneteenth, a meaningful day in American history that marks the end of slavery in the United States. On June 19, 1865, news of freedom finally reached Galveston, Texas. It is an important time for our community to reflect on our history, learn together, and celebrate freedom.

Please remember that all Lake Shore Central School District buildings are closed today in observance of the holiday. We hope all of our students, staff, and families have a safe and restful long weekend.

Huge congratulations to McHale Connors and Damien Mayer for being named Spring All-WNY Scholar Athletes! These remarkable student-athletes have proven that dedication in the classroom is just as important as dominance in competition, representing the very best of our Lake Shore community.

McHale has been a standout force for our Track & Field team, while Damien has consistently led the way on the courts for Boys Varsity Tennis. Balancing a rigorous academic workload with the demands of varsity athletics is no small feat, and we are incredibly proud of their hard work, leadership, and commitment to excellence. Balancing the intense demands of varsity sports with elite academic standing takes incredible work ethic, and these three have shown what it truly means to be a standout student-athlete.

Kate represented our Girls Varsity Lacrosse team at the highest level, while Claire and Angelina set the bar high all season long for Track & Field. 💚 Huge congratulations to our incredible student-athletes on the Lake Shore Girls Lacrosse team for earning ECIC All-Star postseason honors! Katsi Jackson and Chasity Leroy both secured well-deserved spots on the ECIC 1st Team for their outstanding performances on the field this year. Their hard work, leadership, and dedication truly set the tone for our entire program all season long.

The accolades didn't stop there for the Eagles. Payton Stevens earned a spot on the ECIC 2nd Team, while Kyrie Buffalo and Saniya Seneca were named to the ECIC 3rd Team. We are so incredibly proud of how these young women represented the Lake Shore community this spring. Please join us in celebrating their fantastic achievements!

Summer sports plans are officially landing! 🦅

We are launching our first-ever Lake Shore Volleyball Camp this July at the High School, and it is open to all student-athletes entering grades 3-12. Whether they are completely new to the court or preparing for school tryouts, your student will get four packed days of elite instruction directly from our JV and Varsity coaching staff. Every registration includes a camp tee shirt and hands-on skill development to keep them active and connected this summer.

Sessions are split perfectly by grade level to ensure every group gets the right pace and focus. Space is limited, so grab your spot today:

It is another beautiful morning to compete. Our student-athletes are back at the Alden Track Complex today for Day 2 of the Section 6 State Qualifier. Action kicks off early at 10:00 AM, and the team spirit and focus are exactly where they need to be.

These student-athletes have poured everything into this season, and today is their final push for a ticket to the state championships. Lake Shore is incredibly proud of how you represent our community. Good luck to everyone competing today!

💚 Meet Day for Track & Field!

Today our dedicated student-athletes travel to Alden High School for Day 1 of the Section 6 State Qualifier. All the hard work and long hours of training throughout the season come down to these moments. Our Eagles are primed and ready to compete against the best in the region starting at 12:00 PM.

Let's show some major support for these exceptional student-athletes as they run, jump, and throw for a spot at the state championships. Safe travels to all the families heading out to the Alden Track Complex to cheer them on today.
