Our job is to unlock your full potential and turn you into a focused, powerful, and technically proficient athlete.

There are moments that remind us that life is bigger than the game. Relationships are bigger than the scoreboard. And the soccer community is so much more than different jerseys competing against one another.

In the midst of unimaginable loss, our Pursuit FC Director and family have been surrounded by an incredible amount of love, compassion, prayer, and support from within our own club and outside of the club. We simply cannot adequately express what that has meant to us. This "armband" movement was spearheaded by one Pursuit FC team who showed up to practice wearing black armbands after hearing about the passing of our director's son. Then other Pursuit teams asked to wear bands, and it has continued from there.

A special thank you to BYSA Chaos and BYSA Lady Raptors, who reached out and asked if they could stand alongside Pursuit FC by wearing HRM bands around their shin guards this season in honor and memory of Hunter Reece McKinnon. (Josh and Mikah, thank you for your kindness, prayers and support. You are a blessing)

What may seem like a small gesture carries a meaning far greater than they may ever fully understand. Every time we see those three letters — HRM — on athletes wearing a different jersey, we are reminded that some things transcend competition. We can battle one another for 90 minutes, fight for every ball, and desperately want to win — and still recognize that when the final whistle blows, we belong to something much bigger.

Different jerseys. Same game. One community. ❤️

To the players, coaches, parents, and clubs who have loved us, prayed for us, checked on us, hugged us, cried with us, and found ways to honor Hunter: thank you.

Our hearts are overwhelmed with gratitude and respect. You have demonstrated that the greatest thing this game gives us isn't trophies, victories, or championships. It's people. It's relationships. It's love.

Thank you for standing with us. Thank you for helping us carry Hunter's memory forward.
