🔥 TOUGH BITE. BIG GRIND. IMPORTANT FINISH. 🔥

Another awesome King Kat tournament in Eutawville, SC! There’s just something special about rolling across that stage and weighing in right in the middle of the festival. Huge thank you to the City of Eutawville for welcoming us and making this stop such a great experience every year!

🎣 Yesterday was a tough bite for us. We had to grind for every fish we put in the boat, but we kept our heads down, stayed after it, and managed to bring home a 4th-place finish! 💪

It may not have been the finish we came for, but it was definitely a finish we needed for the season points race. Sometimes tournament fishing isn’t about crushing them—it’s about finding a way to stay in the fight when the fish don’t cooperate.

🏆 Congratulations to Team Fishers of Men on taking 1st place! Well deserved. And congratulations to the rest of the field—there’s always some serious competition on the King Kat trail.

A huge thank you to Scott Peavy, Alicia Peavy, and the entire King Kat Tournament Trail for continuing to give us a platform to compete, travel, make memories, and do what we love.

And once again, our equipment held up through the grind! 👊

🎣 Those MAD KATZ Legacy rods continue to impress us with the bend, power, and backbone needed when it counts.

🔥 And when it comes to covering water and putting baits where they need to be, it’s hard to beat those TK Planer Boards from Team Keatts Fishing. They flat-out work!

Reels are freshly spooled, rods are getting rigged, and the gear is almost ready to hit the water.

There’s something about fresh line and a pile of rods that means one thing… it’s time to go to work.

🏆 1,000+ MILES ROUND TRIP… AND WE’RE BRINGING SOME MISSISSIPPI RIVER HARDWARE BACK TO SOUTH CAROLINA! 🏆🎣

Some GREAT memories were made today!

Our first time ever fishing the mighty Mississippi River in Cape Girardeau, Missouri, and what a way to experience it!

🥇 1st Place — Kids Big Fish!
🥈 2nd Place Overall — King Kat Tournament!

We’re definitely a long way from home, but seeing these boys compete, catch fish, and have an absolute blast makes every mile worth it. These are the days and memories that Southern Style Catfishing is all about. ❤️🎣

And the gear flat-out WORKED! Those Team Keatts Fishing “Soul Catcher” hooks were smashing skulls, and as always, the MAD KATZ rods were putting in the work when it mattered! 💪🔥

A huge thank you to Scott and Alicia for the opportunity to be a part of the King Kat trail. We appreciate everything y’all do to keep tournament catfishing growing and to create opportunities for families and young anglers like ours to compete together.

Cape Girardeau, you treated us pretty dang good! 👊

Now we’ve got a couple trophies, some unforgettable memories, and two boys who might think fishing the Mississippi is supposed to be this easy. 😂🎣

Who thinks the bites on fire today! 😂

When it’s 99°+ on the Mississippi, you’ve tied 30+ rigs, and tournament day is knocking… sometimes you’ve just gotta put the rods down and LET THE BOYS HAVE SOME FUN! 😂🎣

The tournament might be serious, but THIS is what they’ll remember. 😂

Who knew a bunch of flying Asian carp could create this much excitement?! These boys were absolutely LOVING IT! 🤣🐟
