134Yd Par 3 Hole 8 at Carolina Springs in Greenville SC. A 7002yd Par 72 course that is definitely taken care of by the maintenance crew. The driving range was pretty standard in my opinion. They do have matts you can hit on, but you can also use the grass area if you prefer. The driving range goes to a max distance of approximately 250 yards. Tee boxes looked amazing in order of Blue (tips) white, green, yellow, red (ladies), Majority of the fairways are wide open and feels beginner friendly. Fairways felt great and smooth to hit on and some will come with various inclines to hit off of. However a few holes depending your tee position, will have you hit over water. As long as you have the confidence to hit over water, your golden. The greens for putting as I played were on the bumpier and slower side, as they were airated a few days prior to me playing. Unfortunately, at the time of me playing, there was a bad storm that did come through the course and blow alot of various debris and trees down. Overall I would give this course an 8.2/10. Due to the amount of lakes around the course, be aware that there are dozens and dozens of geese roaming around. Some of which may be on the tee boxes, fairways etc, so you may have to get them move. I will advise people to cautious as geese are animals and can be aggressive especially if they are nesting nearby the tee boxes etc.
