Yesterday, 9 girls from across the state of Texas represented the 3A Conference at the State Track Meet in Austin, competing in their respective events. We are incredibly proud that our very own Maycee Myers was among them in the high jump!

Maycee had an outstanding season, earning the titles of District Champion, Area Champion, and Regional Champion before finishing her year as a State Qualifier. Along the way, she set a new school record and personal best with a jump of 5’4”.

We are so proud of all Maycee has accomplished this season and cannot wait to see what the future holds for her. Congratulations, Maycee!

Congratulations to our Regional Qualifiers as they competed this weekend.

Braylee Hegemeyer finished 9th in the 300m Hurdles
Briana Espinoza finished 15th in Pole Vault (7’0”)
Maycee Myers finished 6th in Triple Jump (35-5) and a first place finish in High Jump (5’4”)

The Lady Owls Track team competed hard at the Area Track Meet and represented our program with pride and determination! We are proud to announce several outstanding performances and Regional Qualifiers!

Leading the way was Maycee Myers, who was crowned Area Champion in the High Jump (5’3”) and also qualified for Regionals with a 2nd place finish in the Triple Jump (34-2.50). She also added a strong 5th place finish in the 1600m Run (6:07.79)—an incredible all-around day!

Other Regional Qualifiers include:
• Kyleigh Gehman – 4th in Discus (90-3)
• Braylee Hegemeyer – 2nd in the 300m Hurdles (51.17)

We also had several athletes step up and compete at a high level:
• Malley Novosad – 5th in the 400m Dash (64.95)
• Briana Espinoza – 5th in Pole Vault (6’0”)
• Parker Novosad – 7th in the 800m Run (2:51.16)
• Kyleigh Gehman – 7th in Shot Put (29-5.50)

Our relay teams showed tremendous effort and growth:
• 4x400 Relay (Parker Novosad, Maggie Borski, Leilani Tagudin, Malley Novosad) – 5th with a PR of 4:25.30
• 4x200 Relay (Braylee Hegemeyer, Leilani Tagudin, Kyleigh Whatley, Jessica Abraham) – 6th (1:58.32)

This group continues to compete with heart, toughness, and pride. We are excited to see our Regional Qualifiers represent the Lady Owls at the next level!

What a great finish to the District Track Meet for our Lady Owls! The girls wrapped up varsity finals strong and earned an impressive 3rd place overall team finish. Proud of the grit, determination, and heart they showed all meet long!

We had several athletes punch their tickets to the Area Meet and represent our program at the next level!

It was a great start to the District Track Meet today for our Lady Owls! We had several athletes advance to the Area Meet and bring home medals in both field events and the JV division. We’re proud of the effort and competitiveness shown across the board!

Varsity finals will wrap up tomorrow, and we’re excited for more opportunities to punch tickets to Area!

Results from our Pre-District Tune-Up Meet are in! 🏃‍♀️💨

Our Lady Owls showed up and competed hard this week in Anderson, and we’re proud of the effort and growth we saw across the board. With district right around the corner, our girls are focused and ready to take the next step!

The Lady Owls Track teams had an incredible showing at the District Track Meet yesterday! We are so proud of the effort, determination, and heart these girls displayed all season, and it truly showed in their performances.
A huge THANK YOU to our parents who provided snacks and water for our athletes—we couldn’t do it without your support. We also want to thank all of the volunteers who helped run the meets and our amazing booster club for always backing our coaches and athletes. Your support makes a difference!
