"TIGER TALK" on the Tiger Sports Network will be going LIVE from the Straughn Field House with our weekly Coach's Show next week, Tuesday, August 25th, @ 7:00 pm!!

Art Gilbert and Andrew will be talking about all things Straughn High School Football.

Make sure to join in and have your questions ready for Coach Hump. Questions can be sent in via text message or comments on Facebook or Youtube. If you're in the area, stop by the field house and watch the show in person.

Our plan will eventually be to go Live on location at M3’s Grill once they open in the near future.

Allstar Athletics, LLC is happy to welcome Justin Rider as our newest baseball trainer!
Justin and his family moved to Andalusia from Huntsville in 2022.
He is a Junior at Straughn High School. Since starting on Varsity in his Freshman year, he has led the Tigers each season in innings pitched, wins, and strikeouts. When he's not on the mound, he plays where he's needed; outfield, infield, and behind the plate.
Justin desires to play Baseball as long as the Lord allows. In April
2026, he was inducted into the National Honor Society and
desires to earn a degree in Kinesiology after high school.
Justin's short and long term desire is to work with young kids and teach the game he loves.

Covington County All Stars went 2-0 in pool play yesterday…Starting bracket play at 11:45 today against Semmes

Justin Rider (Varsity) is in his second day of 19U competition at the Central Alabama CC Showcase Tournament. Games at 11:15 and 5:00pm.

Even lukewarm acknowledgment and well wishes to our boys playing basketball in Mobile this weekend 🤣.
