What an unbelievable ride this has been! Our 8th grade basketball team just wrapped up another perfect season, going undefeated once again — and what makes this even more special is that this group has NEVER lost a junior high basketball game.

Undefeated in 7th grade.
Undefeated in 8th grade.
That doesn’t just happen… that takes commitment, toughness, heart, and a special kind of bond.

I could not be more proud of this group. They show up, they grind, they push each other, and they play for each other. Watching them grow, compete, and carry themselves with confidence and class has been something truly special.

What a season it’s been with this 7th grade group. We finished 3-2, but the record only tells a fraction of the story.

The real privilege has been watching these players grow—not just as athletes, but as teammates. Every practice, every game, we got to see them figure out how to communicate better, trust each other more, and push through moments when things didn’t go their way. Those are the things that matter long after the final buzzer.

This has been a fun season. Thank you to these players for being part of this journey this year. Proud of what we built together.

Unfortunately, I need to inform everyone that tonight’s game has been canceled. Greenville has made the decision to cancel their matchup against us this evening.

I want to sincerely apologize to everyone who had made plans to attend, rearranged their schedules, or was looking forward to supporting the team tonight. I know how disappointing last-minute cancellations can be, especially when you’ve already committed your time and energy to being there.

We were prepared and ready to compete, and our team shares in your disappointment. These situations are sometimes beyond our control, but that doesn’t make it any less frustrating for all of us.

We appreciate your continued support and understanding. We’ll keep you updated on any rescheduling information or details about our next game as soon as we have them. Thank you for your patience and for standing by our team through these unexpected changes.
