Gave a presentation on Exercising Through Life to my BNI Chapter

I talked about how to adjust one’s fitness based on 5 different stages of life.

Childhood: run, play, jump, climb, fall, have fun!

Emerging Adulthood: learning basic body weight movement patterns. Introduction of balancing school, sports, friends, and life.

Adulthood: maintaining and enhancing health and fitness as the complexity of life increase.

Midlife: preventing decline and promoting longevity.

Senior Years: enhancing quality of life.

Front Foot Elevated Single Leg Sissy Squat. It’s either a split squat or sissy squat, can’t quite decide yet.

Lean back and isolate that back leg. Holy S**t, it works.

I am beyond happy with Patrick’s session today. Getting his knee to comfortably bend past his toe is a huge step in strengthening his quads, pushing past old injury, and overcoming mental blocks.

We are still experimenting with this technique so I can’t recommend it to anyone without knowing the back ground. However it illustrates how moving is a skill and requires practice as much as strength.

I usually start my morning off working out with family member online. Some morning I get to see my Mom and my two Aunts all back to back.

It makes me happy knowing I’m able to help out my family members stay healthy and fit.

I think working out online is a great option for people looking for simplicity with their exercise.
