14u Anahuac-Baseball Allstars Walk It Off Against Huntington 14U Allstars

14u Anahuac-Baseball Allstars took Sunday's game in dramatic fashion, with an 8-6 walk-off victory over Huntington 14U Allstars. The game was tied at six in the bottom of the fifth when Christian White doubled, scoring two runs.
Huntington 14U Allstars got on the board in the top of the first inning after Jaxson Strain singled down the left field line, and Jace Christoph walked, each scoring one run.
Huntington 14U Allstars added one run in the second. , making the score 3-0.
AJ Munoz homered to center field, which helped 14u Anahuac-Baseball Allstars tie the game at three in the bottom of the third.
In the top of the fourth, Huntington 14U Allstars broke up the tie when Kaysen Bryan doubled, scoring one run. Then a single by Jace Christopher followed to extend the lead to 6-3.
14u Anahuac-Baseball Allstars flipped the game on its head in the bottom of the fifth, scoring five runs on four hits to take the lead, 8-6. The biggest blow in the inning was a double by White that drove in two.
Munoz earned the win for 14u Anahuac-Baseball Allstars. The pitcher surrendered four hits and three runs over three and two-thirds innings, striking out five and walking none. Maverick Renfro took the loss for Huntington 14U Allstars. The pitcher went two and two-thirds innings, allowing six runs on seven hits, striking out three and walking two. Carter Rivon stepped on the hill first for 14u Anahuac-Baseball Allstars. The hurler gave up one hit and two runs over one and one-third innings, striking out three and walking three. Christopher stepped on the bump first for Huntington 14U Allstars. The starter allowed one hit and two runs (one earned) over one and two-thirds innings, striking out none and walking three.
Tyler Poole went 3-for-3 at the plate to lead 14u Anahuac-Baseball Allstars in hits. Kellen Fulton and White each drove in two runs for 14u Anahuac-Baseball Allstars. Munoz collected two hits for 14u Anahuac-Baseball Allstars in three at bats. Tristen Kincade, Baize Whitmire, and Poole each stole multiple bases for 14u Anahuac-Baseball Allstars. 14u Anahuac-Baseball Allstars ran wild on the base paths, accumulating 11 stolen bases for the game.
Christopher provided pop in the middle of the lineup, and led Huntington 14U Allstars with two runs batted in. The right-handed hitter went 1-for-2 on the day. Kristian Pinner, Renfro, Strain, Bryan, and Christopher each collected one hit for Huntington 14U Allstars.
