🏈💛 They’re still OUR kids.

Yesterday, two of our most recent AYSO alumni stopped by practice on their way back to the locker room after playing in their very first middle school football game.

They were looking for some of our famous ice-cold water. (Okay… “famous” might be a slight exaggeration. 😂)

It was such a small thing, but it struck me as incredibly sweet.

These two boys have aged out of our program. They’ve moved on to the next chapter. But when they needed something — even if it was just a cold drink of water — they knew our practice was still a soft place to land. They knew they could walk right back over, grab what they needed, and that they would always be welcome.

That’s what makes AYSO special.

We are an imperfect program led by imperfect adults. We don't always get everything right. But we are working hard to create a culture where kids know, without a doubt, that they are loved, supported and surrounded by people who are rooting for them.

While they’re with us, they’re OUR kids.

When they move on to middle school, they’re still OUR kids.

When they age out of our program, they’re still OUR kids.

And I hope, years from now, they still know there will always be a place for them here — even if all they need is a bottle of our “famous” ice-cold water. 💛

(And, by the way — THEY WON! 🙌 Even better, these two former AYSO boys were out there making plays and doing their thing. We couldn't be prouder of them!)

Football season is almost here, and we’re working to get our volunteer spots filled for AYSO Football & Cheer home games!

Our board and coaches can’t do it alone. It takes parents, families, students and community members pitching in to make game day happen for our kids. 🖤💛

Can you give us one shift? Every person who signs up takes one more job off the list and helps us focus on creating a great experience for our players and cheerleaders.

🎓 Students needing service hours are welcome! We are happy to verify and sign off on volunteer hours.

You don’t have to have a child in the program to volunteer. Parents, grandparents, alumni, friends, community members and students are ALL welcome to help! 🙌

A huge THANK YOU to Ashunté Photography for capturing some great shots from our 2026 AYSO Community Pep Rally last night!

Maria is not only the talented photographer behind Ashunté Photography, but she is also one of our Freshman Cheer coaches. We are incredibly thankful to both Maria and Lacy Vernon for volunteering their time and talents to help us capture these special memories for our Panther families.

We love getting the chance to show off our kids, and we’re grateful for the people who step up to make nights like this one even more special. 🖤💛
