We are very excited to announce the 2026-2027 Cascade 11U Select Softball team. The girls had tremendous growth during 25-26, and the coaches are looking forward to keeping that momentum going into the new season. We look forward to another great year of development, competition, and camaraderie.

We are taking a short break from practices but will resume at the beginning of August.

🌟 Cascade 11U Select Softball Tryouts 🌟

Cascade 11U Select will be hosting tryouts for our 2026-2027 team on July 1 or July 8 at the Amo Ball Diamonds, beginning at 6:00 PM. Girls only need to attend one of the dates.

Tryouts are open to girls with birthdates between 9/1/2014 and 8/31/2016.

The tryouts will be conducted in an open practice format, allowing players to participate in drills, defensive work, hitting, and other softball activities in a relaxed, team-oriented environment.

Our Select program offers a more competitive environment than recreational softball, while maintaining a strong focus on player growth, skill development, teamwork, and having fun while improving the game we love. We are committed to helping athletes build confidence, develop their abilities, and reach their full potential both on and off the field.

Head Coach Juan Hummel brings years of coaching experience within the Cascade community and has been instrumental in building and developing the Cascade Select program.

What a fun weekend in Cincinnati for the Cascade 10U Select Softball team! 🖤🥎💙

This group showed tremendous growth throughout the tournament, improving with every game they played. While our weekend came to an end after an incredibly close battle on Sunday, we're proud of the way these girls competed from start to finish.

Our pitching was spectacular all weekend long, keeping us in every game and giving the team a chance to compete. At the plate, the bats got stronger with each game as the girls continued to gain confidence and make adjustments. A special shoutout to Bailey Cooper for launching an over-the-fence home run!!💥🥎

Even with five games packed into the weekend, the fun didn't stop at the ballpark. The girls, siblings, and parents enjoyed some well-deserved downtime at Great Wolf Lodge, racing down water slides, relaxing in the lazy river, and topping it all off with ice cream generously provided by Coach Juan. 🍦🐺💦

Weekends like this are about more than wins and losses. They're about growth, teamwork, memories, and having fun together. We're excited to take the focus, energy, and lessons from this weekend into our final tournament next weekend as we look to finish the season strong.

A huge thank you to all our Cascade dads that spent Fathers Day weekend hauling wagons, packing and unpacking cars/minivans with precision multiple times, and keeping everyone safe from the constant barrage of foul balls. The girls wore your faces on their socks with pride!

The 10U Cascade Select girls had a very long hot day of softball. These incredible girls battled through the heat, extra innings, and some of the toughest competition we’ve seen yet to take 2nd place out of 15 teams. Each week they are growing stronger, both physically and mentally. The coaches are so proud of these hard-working, goofy girls!!

Happy Mother’s Day to all the incredible softball moms and grandmothers. Our moms go above and beyond to make sure the girls are fed, hydrated, and patched up when there’s an injury. Best of all the moms are the girls biggest fans, always cheering them on. 🖤🥎💙

The Cascade girls were a tale of two teams this weekend. Yesterday, for pool play, our girls had some struggles. As a result, we were the 5th seed in the silver bracket. That meant a VERY early morning drive down to Columbus to battle through 4 games from 8 am until 6pm this evening. Our girls showed up and delivered on the mound, at the plate, and in the field. Every single girl had multiple hits, we were able to put our short game into action, and most importantly showed up with fantastic attitudes.

The coaches couldn’t be more proud of how these girls played today. Every single one of them were instrumental in our 2nd tournament win! 💙🥎🖤 Go Lady Cadets!!! 🖤🥎💙
