Please join us in welcoming Coach Thaddeus Showers Sr. as the new Head Boys Basketball Coach of the Amite High School Warriors!

Coach Showers brings a wealth of basketball knowledge, championship experience, and strong leadership to our program. A standout player at St. Thomas Aquinas High School, he was a two-time State Champion, two-time State Tournament MVP, and earned multiple All-District and All-State honors.

He continued his playing career at Weatherford College before advancing to Southern University, where he excelled as a point guard known for his leadership and basketball IQ.

Most recently, Coach Showers served as an assistant coach at Independence High School, where he helped play a key role in the program’s recent success and growth. With deep family ties to the Amite community, a strong faith foundation, and a passion for developing young athletes, Coach Showers is committed to building champions on and off the court.

To our parents, families, staff, community members, sponsors, and supporters — thank you for investing in our student-athletes and helping make this event so special. Our athletes work hard every day, and celebrating them with such an amazing crowd made the night unforgettable.
