FINAL: Keene 9, Amherst 3 ❤️💙⚾

The Amherst 10U tournament run came to an end Thursday night with a 9-3 loss to host Keene in the State Tournament Quarterfinals.

Keene is one of the strongest 10U teams in New England, and our boys never backed down from the challenge.

As the Keene coach said in the postgame, “You gave us a scare, a lot of teams roll over and you didn’t.”

Amherst competed hard from the first pitch to the last, kept battling, and represented our community with class and determination.

While the scoreboard didn’t go our way, this team has plenty to be proud of.

Thank you to our players for an unforgettable run, our coaches for their dedication, and our families and fans for the incredible support throughout.

Congratulations on a tournament to be proud of. SVI starts next week where the 12U and 10U teams will both be competing.

The future is bright for Amherst Baseball. ❤️💙

FINAL: Amherst 10, Hudson 3 ⚾️💙❤️

Amherst is headed to the State Tournament Quarterfinals!

In a complete team effort, Amherst defeated Hudson 10-3 to keep its state tournament run alive.

The turning point came in the third inning, when Amherst erupted for 6 runs—all with two outs. That’s the kind of determination this team has shown all season. They understand that an inning isn’t over until the third out is recorded, just like a game isn’t over until the 18th out is made.

From clutch hitting to strong pitching and solid defense, every player contributed to an outstanding team win.

With the victory, Amherst advances to the quarterfinals, where they’ll take on the hosts Keene, on Thursday.

Congratulations, boys. Keep playing Amherst baseball!
