Squares are done! We stalled a bit so we capped it at 50 squares sold instead of 100...so that means we doubled everyone's squares...if you bought 1, now you have 2...if you bought 2, now you have 4. We had to cut the payments in half as a result of bringing in half the money we had targeted (to ensure our program makes a profit in the end), but you also now have double the chance to win, so that’s a wash.
We sold 50 squares at $50 for $2500 total in the pot. We will pay out $80 per game times 17 games for a total payout of $1360 to the winners by the end of the season and a profit left of $1140 for the flag football program.
The week 1 grid is included here. The weekly grid will be posted on our social media each Wednesday, so follow us if you want to know your weekly numbers as they will be shuffled each game.
