August Central Woggers run/walk is Tomorrow August 22nd in conjunction with Steps of Summer. Meet at Jensen Center in Amherst at 6:25pm, go for a run or walk for 45 minutes, and then meet at Obriens patio in downtown Amherst for a snack and chat. Bring a snack to share after. Invite and bring more walking and running friends. Open to all levels and abilities!Hope to see you all there!

Reminder: Steps of Summer #17 out of 18: Tuesday-August 22nd @ 6:25pm!

Our "chatter" is Sam Van Nuys and she will be sharing about the topic: Well-being for Life. Sam is a Certified Health and Wellness Coach and a Certified Wellness Practitioner currently working in the wellness space. She will share parts of her well-being journey, how she helps others navigate their journeys, and provide small strategies that have BIG impacts on creating well-being for life. Thanks Sam for volunteering to "chat"....can't wait!

Snacks: We will be meeting at the Jensen Center as usual. We will have the chat and then go and do our exercise. After that....everyone is invited to the O'briens outdoor area to chat and snack! Bring a snack of your choice. This is doubling as our Central Woggers Monthly gathering.....so for those that haven't made it to one of the monthly gatherings....it will give you a "taste"...☺️☺️

REMINDER! Steps of Summer today- Tuesday!!!! LOCATION: JENSEN CENTER At 6:25PM. CENTRAL WATERS (~7:15pm)

This week we will have Martha Bailey chatting. Ryan had a prior commitment. Martha will be chatting about Stress: the good and the bad, tools we can utilize to help ourselves respond to stress and how we can use stress as motivation in our lives. This is going to be great! Thanks Martha for joining us.

STEPS of SUMMER TODAY!!REMINDER....TODAY, August 1st we have Vic Akemann as our chatter. Vic is a recently retired teacher from SPASH – 33 years in the biological sciences. He loves life and loves to make connections to “All Things Running…In the Universe!”

Vic believes running is more than fitness… it’s the solo aspect, blended with a connection to friendships, injuries, healing, and living! Vic will talk about: “Running Through My Teens, 20’s, 30’s, 40’s, 50’s, 60’s…”. See you soon!!

Thank you Charlie Vater for being an inspiration to all! Best of luck!! This week we have Amherst's very own high school counselor, Shelley Swanson. Shelley just finished her 15th year at Amherst and enjoys the work she does with the Amherst youth as well as supporting others in this amazing community. Her "chat" will be titled "When Self Care isn't Enough" and she is honored to chat about mental health and provide some resources. See you tonight!!
