We’ve had a lot of requests to reopen the apparel store — and it’s back! There are some great items available that many people have been asking for.

The store will close next Sunday, April 12 at 11:59 PM, so be sure to get your orders in before then.

All items will be delivered to the high school, and we’ll take care of distributing them once they arrive.

This past weekend, fourteen youth baseball players were selected for the MBL August Classic. These players were selected by their teammates and coaches for having great seasons this year. Our Amery players competed with players from local communities including: Somerset, Baldwin, New Richmond, River Falls, St. Croix Central, Menomonie, Prescott and St. Croix Falls. All our boys represented Amery well on and off the field.

The tourney season wrapped up last weekend in Altoona. The 10u, 11u, 12u and 13/14u teams traveled to Altoona for the Small Town Basebal Tournament. All teams competed well but only the 10u team could come home with hardware. Congrats to them for taking 2nd in the 10u bracket.

Playoff time starts now in the MBL. 10u and 11u already earned their way along the brackets with wins on Monday. Tonight the 10u, 12u and 14u play. Tomorrow night, 11u and 13u get their turn.

What a weekend for Amery Baseball! We hosted the 11u and 13u tournaments at the new field. Big thanks to Cameron, River Falls, Somerset, Osceola, Chisago Lakes and Baldwin for participating.

Congrats to the Amery 11u squad for two comeback wins to take the 11u championship with Cameron taking 2nd.

Congrats to Baldwin 13u for taking home the championship in their age division. Amery and Chisago tied 9-9 to take second.

Also, big congrats to the 12u and 10u for taking first place at the Unity Youth Tournament in Milltown. Both teams went undefeated on Saturday for the titles.

A very fun weekend with all six youth teams heading to St. Croix Falls for their Futures tournament. Between the six teams, 18 games were played with three of the teams playing in the championship games. The 9u team took first place with 13u and 11u taking home second.

It was the hottest weekend of the year so far but all the boys battled the whole time and represented Amery well.

With the extreme heat this afternoon, we have decided to cancel the two Junior and Senior League practices today. The fields will be open at those times if you would like to get a little baseball in. Please use caution and hydrate well if you do.
