The rivers are open! Lower Quinault and lower Queets regulations. I'm running a salmon troller but it's still early in the season so I'm available for blueback sockeye trips. 18' clackamax or 20' jet sled. Msg me for details

New rates for 2026! I'm literally the last boat guide on the Quinault to raise my rates. I've been at $250 for over 10 years now. Unfortunately it's time for me to get with the times. Every guide I've talked to is at $300 per person and has been for a few years. So with that being said it's time for me to raise my rate to $300 per person, with a $100 deposit to hold each date. Deposits are refundable if the river blows out. Or if you have to cancel but give me enough time to rebook another group. This last winter I had 4-5 groups cancel last minute that didn't put down a deposit. That hurts my business because I had several requests early in the season that I passed on to other guides after my calendar filled up. I understand things happen but I've lost tens of thousands of dollars over my career due to last minute cancellations. I appreciated you all

Last day of the Steelhead season was a good one. Perfect weather, river in great shape and super fishy dudes in my sled. Thank you to everyone that fished with me this winter. I'll be posting all the fish pics from this season now that it's safe to blow up my river

Morgan, Jesse and Cyrus came up from Yurok territory to chase Quinault Steelhead and talk about our guide program. Morgan is a guide on his home rivers and he's hoping to get a guide program started with the Yurok tribe. Cyrus is leaving for boot camp soon in fort Sill Oklahoma. Tough conditions with the river at 6300 on the rise when we started yesterday, but we managed to land a couple nice Steelhead and lost a blueback on a Dr. Death mag lip. The goal was to get Cyrus to land a Steelhead with his dad before he went to boot camp and we got it done!
