Sometimes the most powerful thing you can do in your practice is REST. 🧘🏽♀️
Child’s Pose (Balasana) may look simple, but it offers the body and mind an opportunity to soften, release, and reset.
Taking a few intentional breaths in Child’s Pose can help:
✨ Gently stretch the hips, thighs, ankles & back
✨ Release tension through the shoulders and spine
✨ Encourage slower, deeper breathing
✨ Create a moment of grounding and inward focus
✨ Give the body a much-needed pause between movements
✨ Support relaxation and a calmer nervous system
And here’s your reminder: Child’s Pose is not “giving up.” It’s listening to your body. 💛
Your yoga practice doesn’t have to be about pushing harder or going deeper. Sometimes the practice is knowing when to soften.
Come flow, breathe, restore & reconnect with me. 🌿
