814 Wrestling presents Thundercade

1) Swole Patrol- VJ Hales/ Vic Braun vs Proof of Vision- Proof JD LeDuke/ da Vision JK with Titus Jackson
814 Wrestling once again proves we have the hottest tag team division as both teams are feverishly trying to make their way up the tag team ranks. Proof of Vision come out celebrating the release of the latest Toy Story movie by dressing as characters from the movie, but the Swole Patrol were having none of it. Vic and VJ were off to an early advantage but the resilience and speed of Proof of Vision kept them in this match until the closing moments when Thicc Vic hit a bit diving headbutt from the top rope to get the victory over Proof of Vision.
2) Zakk Ramses vs Freek
Ramses comes out to address the crowd saying how he hasn't found the perfect partner that measures up to his standards to help him capture the tag team titles. Freek interrupts him saying we've heard enough of him. He makes a deal, if Freek wins, Ramses joins the Freek Show. Ramses, seemingly amused, accepts the challenge. Freek starts by trying his usual array of moves, but not able to budge the bigger Ramses. He eventually staggers the big man. Freek gets and advantage but it doesn't last long. Ramses catches Freek and applied the Dragon Tamer to get the submission.
After the match, Ramses calls out the Exotic Gaze. Daniel and Tyler come out, reiterating what Freek said- everyone was tired of hearing Ramses talk. Daniel said they'll defend the titles against him tonight. Before anything can happen Tyler low blows Daniel and pushes him into a chaokeslam by Ramses. Tyler confronts Ramses saying you want a tagf team partner, meet your tag team partner- Tyler Caton. Before they can shake hands Daniel low blows Tyler and shoves him into a Ramses chaokeslam. Ramses leaves the ring with the tag team titles. Tyler and Daniel recover and realize what the other has done. At that moment, the Exotic Gaze implodes. It takes almost the entire locker room to separate both members of the Exotic Gaze.
3) 717/814 Title- Pat Angel vs RD Mosh (c) with special guest referee AC Norway
Mosh starts the match by forcing the ring side attendant, Bodie, to remove his jacket since he told the Pit Chick to stay home. Pat Angel tells Bodie he doesn't have to do that and pulls the jacket off the back of RD Mosh. The match starts quick as both men are trying to beat the 7 minute 17 second time limit. Both men know each other very well and take care to not make a mistake AC stays impartial the whole match. AC makes a correct call that angers Mosh. Mosh pushes and backs AC into the corner. AC smiles and says Mosh doesn't know who he's messing with. Mosh keeps pushing until AC low blows RD as Pat rolls up Mosh to get the victory and the 814 title.
4) Toy Box Match- Man-Child vs Hunner
The time has come. After all the Freek Show has put Hunner through, he is ready to get his pound of flesh. The match starts with both men trading shots in the ring but it doesn't take long for the toys in the toy box to come into play. LEGO covered bat, hockey sticks, Man-Child-O, barb wire, dog collars, tables, and Freek. This match had everything. Hunner takes the same dog collar he was hanged by, wrapped it around his arm and clotheslines the Man-Child to get the win. Hunner celebrates his win, but not for long. The Freek Show jump Hunner and wrap a steel chair around his head and continue to hit the chair with a hockey stick until the refs clear them out.
Coming back from intermission, AC Norway asks Todd Taylor to come into the ring. They talk about AC's music career and the contract he signed when Todd introduces the crowd to an old favorite- Joey P. Todd informs AC how himself and Joey have swidled the company out from under AC and begin pushing him around. X-Man gets up from the announce table saying enough is enough. He takes a mic and stands up for AC saying he can't stand bullies. X-Man then clotheslines AC and say "I don't like country music anyway." They head to a private table leaving AC beaten and broke in the ring.
Drew gets in the ring to get ready to announce the next match as Daniel Exotic starts his post intermission firing up of the crowd when Tyler Caton comes through the crowd once again. The locker room empties out one more time to separate the Exotic Gaze. The new owners tell them they better figure it out as they are still under contract for the next year as the Exotic Gaze, so like it or not they are still a tag team.
5) Qualifying Match for the Legacy Title Tournament- Thomas Mathis vs Goddrick Sandwell vs War Wulf Kreed
Mathis starts the match berating his opponents as the work together, for the moment, to beat up Mathis. War Wulf uses the Gentleman of Exquisite Caliber as a weapon against Mathis. When War Wulf goes for a cover Sandwell breaks it up. All three men leave in the ring showing the fans how bad they want that title. Sandwell gets a big move on War Wulf when Mathis sneaks up from behind and rolls up Sandwell to get the win and advance in the tournament.
6) VIPs- Lou Martin/ Shawn Blanchard vs the Future- Luke Lee/ Arawn Conners
Lou Martin and Shawn Blanchard have made previous appearances at Thundercade as opponents, now the Pittsburgh wrestling legends are members of the 814 Wrestling roster. The Future are the current number one contenders for the tag titles and you know the VIPs want that spot and the titles. The dynamic of this match was fun to watch, the VIPs are old school and there isn't a rule they haven't met they won't break as they meet the young and hungry fan favorites in the Future. A very back and forth match until Conners attempts a suplex on Martin into the ring when Blanchard grabs the leg of Conners as Martin falls on Conners to get the win over the number one contenders.
7) 814 Wrestling Grand PA Title- Surge (c) vs D Savage
Just before the match begins, Savage surrenders the Legacy title cashing it in for this title opportunity at the biggest prize in 814 Wrestling. Surge has become the longest reigning 814 Grand PA champion in history and is one day away from holding the title for one full year. Can he defeat he friend, his travel buddy, his training partner- D Savage. The match starts off slowly with neither man getting an advantage. They know each other so well and no one wanted to be the one to make the mistake and leave the door open for his opponent. Both men hit their finishers only for them to kick out. back and forth in a big fight feel when Savage slips up and Surge catches him in a huge Twisted Transistor to get the win and move on to officially hold the Grand PA Title for one full year.
