Two Comets received All State recognition yesterday! Mason Thornton was named a 2nd Team Catcher, and Jarren Holesapple was named Honorable Mention Utility! Congratulations boys, this is very well deserved!

Your Comets drop a heartbreaker, 4-2, to a very talented East Carter team in the District Semifinal round. We finish our season at 18-9. Proud is an understatement. I couldn’t have asked for any more out of my boys this year. We return everyone, and are already looking forward to a great year next year! We want to thank everyone for the support that has been shown this year, it means the world to myself and the boys.

Comets pick up a 2-1 win over the Thayer Bobcats! Jarren Holesapple was electric, going 6 1/3 innings, striking out 16, and surrendering only 1 hit! Kanaan Clary hit his second homer of the season! That win moves us to 17-6 on the season, breaking the previous school record of 16 wins in a spring season! This is a testament to all of the hard work these boys have put in!☄️☄️

We had 5 Comets make the All Conference Team! Huge congratulations to Mason Thornton, Kade Clary, Jarren Holesapple, Kayden Willard, and Kanaan Clary! All 5 earned first team honors. In addition to that, Mason Thornton was named the Big Springs Conference Player of the Year! Hard work pays off, you boys have earned it!

Comets pick up a big 11-4 victory over the Van Buren Bulldogs! We move to 15-5 on the season, and will hit the road Saturday to take on the Scott City Rams and the Greenville Bears!
