Last night, our JV team traveled to Independence for their first meet of the season. Despite the challenging heat, our girls competed with determination, worked hard, and never gave up. They put together many great points and showed tremendous resilience throughout the meet.
We are incredibly proud of the hard work, dedication, and perseverance they demonstrated last night!

A special shoutout to Brea Robison for placing 1st in #1 Singles!

Way to go, ladies! We’re excited to see what the rest of the season has in store.

Up next is our Varsity Tournament, which will be held at Independence this year, beginning at 10:00 a.m. tomorrow.

Last night, our Varsity Lady Grizzlies traveled to Chanute to take on some strong competition. While the results of some matches were not what we had hoped for, our girls continued to persevere, compete, and support one another through both tough competition and challenging heat.

A special shoutout goes to our No. 2 Doubles team, Kinsley and Leia, who had an outstanding night with a 3-0 record!

Great job, ladies! We are proud of the effort, determination, and resilience you showed on the court!

Next up, our JV Lady Grizzlies will travel to Independence on Tuesday, September 1st. Good luck, ladies! 🐻🎾

Varsity Tennis Season Opener!

What an incredible first night of varsity tennis! Our Lady Grizzlies opened the season with a dual against Coffeyville and put together a strong performance.

Both singles players finished the night 1–1, while both doubles teams went undefeated, winning both of their matches. What a great way to start the season!

Great job, ladies! We are proud of the effort, competitiveness, and teamwork you showed last night.

Up Next:
Our next competition is a Varsity Quad in Chanute on Thursday, with matches beginning at 3:00 PM.

Attention: Schedule Change for Tomorrow’s Meet in Coffeyville

Due to the anticipated heat, tomorrow’s meet in Coffeyville will have a delayed start time.

Warm-ups will begin at 5:00 PM, with matches starting shortly afterward.

Students will remain at school until after the regular school day tomorrow and will leave for the meet afterward.

Fall sport parents and athletes, mark your calendars for our upcoming parent meeting! We are so excited to kick off another great season of sports here in Grizzly Nation.

As a reminder, physicals need to be turned into the main office or to the head coach prior to participation!

Reminder: This week August 12th through the 14th we will be having tennis conditioning from 8-9 am. On Wednesday and Friday after conditioning I will be showing the heat and concussion videos you are all required to watch before practice starts next Monday. Also, please do not forget you have to have your physical done before the first day of practice. If you have any questions please let me know.
