Weekend Recap:

8U Ducks
The 8U Ducks went 3-1 on the day. After a tough loss in Game 1 against a really good team, the boys responded the right way and rattled off three straight wins to bring home the Silver Championship! Proud of the way this group bounced back and competed all day.

9U Ducks – PG CHAMPS
The 9U Ducks had a perfect 3-0 day and brought home the Perfect Game Championship! This group continues to grow and get better every time they take the field.

A couple of big-time individual performances:

Case Davis – MVP Pitcher
5 IP | 10 K | 1 BB | 0 H

Reed Bennett – MVP Hitter
5 H | 7 R | 3 RBI | 2 BB | 8 SB

Great performances by both, and an awesome team effort from the entire group to finish the day undefeated!

11U Ducks
The 11U Ducks came out swinging with a dominant 16-1 win in Game 1. They picked up right where they left off in Game 2, jumping out to a 5-0 lead in the bottom of the 2nd before the rain moved in and ultimately canceled the rest of the tournament.

Hate that they didn't get the opportunity to finish what they started, but the boys were playing some really good baseball and had themselves a strong weekend.

GOLD BRACKET CHAMPIONS x2!

9U Ducks:

What a way to start our first 9U live-pitch tournament! We started the day with a tough loss after a bad inning during our first game, but these boys didn’t let it define their day. They locked it down, bounced back, and picked up wins in the next two games to earn a spot in the Gold Bracket Championship Game. We had to battle through some adversity in the championship, but this group kept fighting and finished it off with a walk-off win! Couldn’t be more proud of how much these boys learned, adjusted, and grew throughout the day. A great first step into live-pitch baseball! 🦆⚾️🏆

11U Ducks:

The day started a little rough with a loss in Game 1 after some uncharacteristic play, but these boys responded exactly how you want them to. They got back on track, rattled off two wins, and capped off the day with another win in the Gold Bracket Championship Game! These boys continue to get better every day, and it’s great to see all the hard work they’ve been putting in paying off. Keep grinding, boys! 🦆⚾️🏆
