SCBA championship games will start this Saturday at various locations, including Butler Rodman Park! We have 4 Alliance teams playing for the gold: Greener Grass Grizzlies, Marlington Vipers, White Refrigeration Bombers, and Big Red's Sport Fishing.

A couple other area teams, Sebring Sanor and Sebring Raga, will be competing for the championship as well!

On top of that, The Hooks are still in the hunt. They're scheduled to play in the third round of their tournament on Saturday.

Good luck to all of these teams, and congratulations on amazing seasons!

Our third and final G-League Player of the Week is Beau Ranker, again from Pole Barns Direct. His coach, Dan Ranker, shared that "Great Teammate, Hard Worker, Huge Heart, and Great Sportsmanship are just a few words that describe Beau. Beau is always there to pick up his teammates and encourage others. Beau works hard to improve at his position at first base. This past Saturday Beau demonstrated that by making some difficult plays helping his team pull off a win. As a Coach and Father, I am extremely proud of him. Keep up the great job #9."

Our second G-League Player of the Week is Ethan Buetel, also of Pole Barns Direct. Coach Ranker tells us that "Seeing the confidence build and the excitement grow for a player throughout the season is extremely rewarding as a Coach. Ethan has been one of those players who continues to grow with hard work and effort. At our game on 5/13, Ethan was a defensive star. He fielded multiple plays and made amazing throws to 1st base being responsible for a handful of outs. Super proud of this young man! Great job Ethan!! Keep up the great work!"

Our first G-League Player of the Week is Lukas, who plays for Pole Barns Direct. His coach, Dan Ranker told us that "Lukas is one of those players who shows up at every practice, every game ready to work with a smile on his face. His efforts and teamwork speaks volumes to who he is as a young man. Lukas has continued to improve every time he steps on the field. His most recent highlight was driving home the game winning run in our game on May 12th. Keep rolling Lukas!"

Our I-League Player of the Week is Dawson Pavlak who plays for the Rotary Raptors. His coach, Scott Haney let us know that "Dawson has taken a huge commitment this season to doing his best and learning everything he can. This kid has a ton of skill and the willingness to grow in every aspect of the game. He tries his best in games and gives his all in practice, a great player to have on a team and we're glad he's on ours!"
