Sending prayers out to the whole Trone Family and all guys at Trone Outdoor Motorsports. We are sadden to hear the passing of John. We can still picture sitting in the shop talking everything racing. The stories that were shared between John, Kevin, Barry, and Donnie will forever stick with us. John was a great business owner, car owner, most of all a friend. Thank you John for giving Derek Hauck and everyone at Derek Hauck Racing a chance to race and work on the iconic 39 Trone Special. We are forever grateful for the opportunity and to say we drove for one of the best car owners in central Pa is an understatement. John was one of the elite owners that sculpted Central Pa Sprint Car Racing to what it is today. He continued to field a car through some of his toughest times. That showed his passion for the sport and where his heart was this whole time.

John, thank you again for the opportunity and the friendship built along the way. You won in life and picked up another checkered flag today šŸ Rest Easy John you will be missed sir!

Unfortunately our night at Port Royal Speedway Trackside Media was very short lived. We hot lapped and got one lap in on time trials to get on the board but heard something was off. Cody Hauck, my dad and I got to work while waiting to get outta the infield. Valve covers were ready to come off, David Snook, Kirk Ritter and the boys stepped in to try and find the problem as fast as possible. Once these pieces were found, we made the decision to call it a night. Off to the engine builder Monday morning, šŸ¤ž we donā€™t find anything too bad as itā€™s our only engine at this time.

Last night we raced the Jonathon Jones Motorsports car at Tri-City Raceway park. Ended up 3rd at the end of the night. It was a night of learning as Iā€™ve never raced there and theyā€™ve put new clay down since Jonathan was there. We made some wholesale changes for the A-Main and was much better but still have some things to work on. Overall a solid night. Thank you to Jonathan and his family for continuing to support me and what some call my ā€œaddictionā€!!!

Tonight at Sharon Speedway definitely didnā€™t start as planned. Someone got into me in the heat race giving us a flat LR tire which put us in the back of the B-Main. Proud of everyone involved at Jonathon Jones Motorsports for not giving up and turning a bad night into a good one and another top 5!
