TX Velocity Softball

A new season for TX Velocity is upon us. Our first in 16u/14u, we opened the season with a double header, won both, including against our nemesis team. Firing on all 8 cylinders all night, lights out pitching, 17 hits, 18 rbis, 18 runs, 2 triples, 1 grand slam, everyone hit successfully, and only 3 Ks.

And that's a wrap on our 12U campaign. Our last tournament didn't end the way we wanted it, but we fought hard to the end. We came out blazing in the pool but our bats could not keep firing in the bracket.

Overall, it was an amazing season, and by far our best of our four in this age bracket. I was very privileged to coach so many amazing kids over the last two years and thankful for all the support from assistant coaches and player families. As Velocity moves into 14U to face bigger challenges and adventures, I will always be amazed at how we started way back when: at full speed and on target.

Today was a long, sweaty day. But after two lights out pitching performances and patience & power at the plate, Velocity is 2-0 through the pool and commands the 2nd seed in the Diamond Bracket tomorrow.

Spring 2026 Allen Sports Association All Star Game. Velocity All Stars: Emma, Gwynn, McKynzie, Jacqueline, & Kendall. Close game for most of the night, Velocity players accounted for 50% of our team's runs and made 5 outs on defense.
