Happy 15th birthday to my beautiful daughter, my Day 1, my battle buddy, and one of the greatest blessings God has ever given me. ❤️

Today will always carry so much meaning. Exactly one year before you were born, I lost my best friend. So every year on your birthday, I’m reminded of both the pain of losing him and the incredible joy God brought into my life through you.

When you were born with that little mark in the middle of your forehead, what they call a “kiss from an angel,” I couldn’t help but feel that someone very special had kissed you before sending you to me.

You changed my entire life the day you were born and gave me a new purpose. Watching you grow into the beautiful, strong, talented, and loving young lady you are today has been one of my greatest honors.

No matter how old you get, you will always be Daddy’s little girl, my Day 1, and my forever battle buddy. I love you more than words could ever express. Happy 15th birthday, baby girl! 🎉❤️

Tonight was one of those special full-circle moments as a coach and a father. I had the opportunity to watch two former teammates compete against each other for their schools.

Daniela, I’m incredibly proud of the amazing player and young woman you continue to become. Although you now play for a new club, I will always be one of your biggest fans. I have nothing but love for you and your family, and I’ll always be cheering for your success.

And to my daughter, Brielle, I’m so proud of you for continuing to work hard, grow, and compete with passion.

Coaching is about so much more than what happens on the court. It’s about the relationships we build and supporting our players wherever their journeys take them. Watching these two compete tonight filled my heart with pride. Keep striving, keep growing, and keep chasing your dreams. I’ll always be in your corner! ❤️🏐 ❤️

Club season may be in the off-season, but these are still my girls. Getting the chance to watch my current players compete for their school teams and show them some love is what coaching is all about.

Different jerseys right now, but the support never changes. 💯

Proud of these young ladies and the work they continue to put in. Keep competing, keep growing, and know Coach will always be in your corner!

One of the best parts about coaching isn’t just watching players grow while they’re on your team, it’s getting to watch them continue to grow long after your season together is over. It was SO GOOD seeing these two train again together. I had the privilege of coaching them last season, and seeing how much they’ve grown since then made this coach extremely proud. I’m incredibly proud of both of you. Keep working. Keep learning. Keep competing. Keep becoming the players and young women you’re capable of becoming.

I’ll always be in your corner, and I’m looking forward to watching you both SHINE and compete this season! Go be great!
