We are getting so close to this years 10th Annual Swing to End Alzheimer’s Golf Tournament! We can’t wait to see you all out on the course for another fun event for such a great cause.

Each year we set a goal to raise more than the year before and we are so blessed to live in a community that steps up each year to help us reach that goal.

Shout out to all that have shown their support through donations, prize donations, food donations, and those that participated in the tournament.

Huge thank you to the Leaf Valley Sportman, Parkers Praire Sportsman, and Miltona Lions for their generous donations.

And finally thank you to the Miltona Golf Club and Leaf Valley Merc for all the work you put into running a successful event.

This year we reached our goal of $12,000+ to help ! 💜

Save the date!

The 7th Annual Swing to End Alzheimer’s Golf tournament is taking place on Saturday June 17th, 2023 at Lake Miltona Golf Club.

All funds raised will be donated to the Dominantly Inherited Alzheimer’s Network(DIAN) and help the advancement for a treatment and cure for Alzheimer’s Disease. Last year we were able to raise $11,000 and have set a fundraising goal of $12,000 for this year’s event.

We are looking for teams, hole sponsors ($100 per hole) prize donations, or monetary donations. If you are interested please contact Jon or Lindsey Sarkilahti.

Tournament Info:
Registration at 11:00 AM. Tee-off at 12:00 Noon

ENTRY FEE: $240/Team (includes: green fees & golf car)
Payment due at time of tournament cash, check or Venmo

PROCEDURE: 4 Players scramble, Mulligans $10 per, 4 max/team

PRIZES: Longest Drive, Closet to the Pin, Longest Putt & Closest 2nd Shot
1st Place team - $200
2nd Place team -$150
3rd Place team - $100

One week ago we held the 6th Annual Swing to End Alzheimer’s golf tournament. A huge thank you to all organizations and people who made a donation, sponsored a hole, and donated prizes.

Golfers- thanks for your participation in the tournament and fundraising opportunities.

Miltona Golf Club- thank you for your continued partnership, and everything you do to make it such a success. Extra thank you to Kyle!

Save The Date: The 6th Annual Swing to End Alzheimer’s Golf Tournament will take place on Saturday June 18th, 2022 at the Miltona Golf Club. So thankful for the generosity of our community! Thank you to all our golfers, hole sponsors, donations, and prize donations! We set a record for funds raised this year! We are so excited to be able to send over $8500 to the Dominantly Inherited Alzheimer’s Network to continue the fight to ! Today’s the day for the 5th Annual Swing to End Alzheimer’s golf tournament. It’s a beautiful day for golf! For those that aren’t able to attend but would like to make a donation, you can do so by using the Venmo code below!

It might not seem like it today, but summer is right around the corner! We are in preparations for the “5th Annual Swing to End Alzheimer’s Charity Golf Tournament”.

2020 was a challenging year for everyone, but thanks to the support of our community members, we were still able to raise over $6,000. This year will continue to have fundraising challenges as we are not able to do some of the events that we would like to, however we have set a goal of $8,000 this year.

All proceeds from this tournament will be donated to the Dominantly Inherited Alzheimer’s Network (DIAN). DIAN is a team of doctors, scientists, and researchers dedicated to finding a treatment/cure for this debilitating disease.

This year’s event will be held Saturday June 19th, 2021 at Miltona Golf club in Alexandria, Minnesota.

Teams can sign up now! 18 hole team scramble. $200 per 4 person team. Team mulligans are available (4 per team) for $20 per person. Prizes to be announced closer to tournament dates.

In order to ensure the success of this very important fundraiser, we are seeking donations, player prizes, and hole sponsorships, to help defray costs associated with the event. Hole sponsorships are available for $100 and your name/business name will be displayed at a hole. Your contribution will ensure that all funds raised can go directly to DIAN to advance the necessary research for a cure.

In the midst of a pandemic we were still able to have a very successful fundraising event because of all of you! We are so excited to announce that we will be able to donate over $6,000 to the Dominantly Inherited Alzheimer’s Network!!!!

We are getting so close to this year's tournament. We aren't able to have the silent auction and benefit dinner this year, but plan to add it next year. There is still room for teams or a hole sponsorship if anyone is interested!
