🏁 HARVEST FESTIVAL RACE — THAT’S A WRAP! 🏁

We wrapped up the Harvest Festival Race this weekend at Atwater Karting Speedway with a little bit of everything — some good, some not so good, and A LOT of learning behind the wheel! 🏎️💨

Saturday

💙 Braxton — 14 Karts
Heat: 4th ➡️ 4th
Feature: 9th ➡️ 8th

💗 Novah — 6 Karts
Heat: 3rd ➡️ 4th
Feature: 5th ➡️ 3rd 🥉

Sunday

💙 Braxton — 17 Karts
Heat: 3rd ➡️ 2nd
Feature: 7th ➡️ 10th

💗 Novah — 4 Karts
Heat: 4th ➡️ 2nd
Feature 1: 1st ➡️ 1st 🏆

Braxton had a tough weekend. His heats were strong, but the features just didn’t go our way. That’s racing! Even on the tough weekends, he’s learning, growing, and becoming a better driver every time he hits the track. 💙

And Novah? She RAN. HER. HEART. OUT. 😂💗 She may have been a little too aggressive at times, but that determination paid off! She kept fighting and brought home some great finishes!

But looking beyond this weekend… WOW. What an absolutely AMAZING season these two have had! 🥹❤️

Braxton has grown SO much as a driver this year. He’s learned to trust his kart, trust himself, and believe in what he can do. He finished the season with 7 podium finishes, including 2 first-place wins, and ended the year 2nd in track points in Westport! 🥈

To see the difference from where he started this season to where he finished is incredible. He truly did a complete 180, and we couldn’t be more proud of him! 🫶🏻

And then there’s Novah… 💗
She had NEVER raced before this season and she absolutely poured her heart into it. She finished the season with 12 podium finishes, including 3 first-place wins, and became a Rookie Track Points Champion in Westport! 🏆👑

She listens, she learns, she thinks through her choices, and then she just GOES! 😂🏁 Watching her confidence grow all season has been something so special.

These kids have taught us so much this year — about patience, perseverance, confidence, and remembering that even the tough races are part of the journey.

And now… next season is going to look a little different because BOTH KIDS WILL BE RUNNING THE SAME CLASS! 😬🏁

So… wish us luck! 😂

It’s hard to believe it, but we’ve officially made it to the FINAL WEEKEND of the 2026 season at Atwater Karting Speedway! 🏁

We have a fun weekend planned to wrap up another great year at AKS!

We originally told ourselves that with school starting soon, we were taking the WHOLE weekend off from racing… well, apparently we don’t know how to do that! 😂🏁

We decided we’d be way too bored sitting at home all day, so this morning we packed up and hit the road for Atwater Karting Speedway for the Behind the Helmets (Meet the Drivers) Race! 🏁🔥

Both kids put the pedal down and drove their little hearts out!

When you have a bestie at the track who’s basically the big sister you always wished for. 🥹💙

The one who cheers you on every single race, celebrates the good days, encourages you through the tough ones, and then sits in the stands with you afterward pointing out little things that can help you become even better. 🏁💪

Our final weekend racing at Westport for the season did NOT disappoint! The kids put in some incredible work all weekend, and we couldn’t be more proud of them! 💙🩷

Saturday brought a little challenge for Braxton with some motor troubles, but we swapped it out before the feature—and WOW, was that what he needed! 🔥

What started as a 1-day race weekend quickly turned into 3 days of racing! 😂🏁

Friday at Runestone Raceway wasn’t quite our night. The track surface gave us some trouble and Novah ended with a DNF, but that’s racing! We packed up, headed to Atwater Karting Speedway for the final weekend of the Tasha Fester Memorial Race, and the kids came ready to start over and give it there all! 🏎️

They both put it all on the track, had some great battles, and most importantly had FUN! ❤️🏁

After a rough night last night, we went home thinking we were done for the weekend. BUT after sleeping on it… we woke up this morning and decided WHY NOT?! 😜

So we’re packed up, loaded up, and BACK ON THE ROAD! 🚗💨🏁

We’re headed to Atwater Karting Speedway for the 2-DAY TASHA FESTER MEMORIAL RACE! 🏆🔥

Last night may not have been our night, but there’s a whole lot of racing left this weekend! 💪🏼 We’re ready to put it behind us, hit the track, and see what the #85 team can do! 💙🩷
