Dear Ladycat Families,
We are incredibly excited to officially get started tomorrow. Thank you to every family who registered, supported our clinics, told a friend about the program, and trusted us with your daughters. You are part of the founding group helping us build girls lacrosse in Aledo from the ground up.
🚨 TOMORROW'S PRACTICE — MOVED INDOORS
Due to the heat, tomorrow's practice will be indoors at Texas Elite.
📍 Texas Elite 375 Stoney Ridge Azle, TX 76020 Wrestling/Indoor Area
Practice times remain the same:
Pre-K–2nd Grade: 3:00–4:00 PM 3rd–4th Grade: 4:00–5:00 PM
Because we are indoors tomorrow, cleats are NOT required. Please have the girls wear appropriate athletic shoes.
🥍 REQUIRED GEAR
Players should bring the following to every practice:
Lacrosse stick
Mouthguard
Girls' lacrosse goggles/eye protection
Cleats (not required tomorrow because we're indoors)
Water bottle
Once practice pinnies are distributed, girls should also bring their practice pinnie to every practice.
👕 UNIFORMS — PLEASE CHECK THE SIZE CHART
Please take a few minutes to review the girls' uniform size chart and make sure you have selected the appropriate size for your player.
When choosing a size, we recommend considering a little room for growth. Our goal is for each player to be able to use her game uniform for approximately two years, helping families avoid purchasing a new uniform every season.
Game uniforms are expected to arrive during the first or second week of September, in plenty of time for our October games.

📍 NORMAL PRACTICE LOCATION
After tomorrow, our normal Sunday practices will be held at:
Morningstar Soccer Fields
Pre-K–2nd Grade: 3:00–4:00 PM 3rd–4th Grade: 4:00–5:00 PM
During periods of excessive heat or severe weather, we may move practices indoors when space is available. We'll communicate any changes to families as early as possible.
🏆 FALL GAME & EVENT SCHEDULE
Please get these important dates on your calendars:
Saturday, October 3 — Fall Tournament 📍 B.F. Phillips Park, Frisco, TX 🥍 1st Grade & Above ⏰ Game times are pending and will be sent once released.
Sunday, October 4 — Pre-K & Kindergarten Play Day/Game Day Our youngest Ladycats will get their own opportunity to experience game day and show off what they've learned throughout the season.
Saturday, October 24 — Final Game Weekend / Play Day This will serve as our final game weekend of the fall season. Additional details will be provided as the schedule is finalized.
Sunday, October 25 — Halloween Try Lacrosse Clinic 🎃🥍 We'll cap off the fall with a fun Halloween-themed Try Lacrosse event. Current Ladycats will be encouraged to bring a friend and help introduce even more girls to the game!
🧡 WHAT WE WANT THIS SEASON TO BE ABOUT
For our first season, our focus is simple: teach the game, build confidence, create great teammates, compete, work hard, and make sure the girls have FUN.
Wins and losses will come. Right now, we're building the foundation of a program we hope these girls will be proud to call theirs for years to come.
Please continue spreading the word and inviting other families to join us.
Registration is still open, and we'd love to add more girls to our inaugural group.
