University of New Mexico Fencing Club We meet every Monday and Thursday from 6:30-8:30! Wear some comfortable clothes, sneakers and bring a water bottle. We've got all the equipment you need!

Hi all, this is Renee ('17), the fencing club's former president and current keeper of the page.

Recently, I've had an uptick in people messaging to ask if the fencing club is still active. The bad news - it isn't, and hasn't been for several years. The good news? There is interest, there's still loaner gear available, and a current faculty member has agreed to help out, if anyone is interested in taking the lead.

If you're interested in Olympic fencing, adding leadership experience to your resume, or making new friends on campus, this is your chance!

If you're interested, please DM this account. Sharing this post is also helpful, as most of this page's followers are now alumni. I'll add interested folks to a group chat, and hopefully things will grow from there.

Hey all! Sorry for the short notice, but Fencing will be canceled tonight. I hope to see you all on Thursday.

On a related note, due to low attendance, I may look at moving fencing to just one night a week. I'll keep you all posted, but if you have a particular day or time that works best for you, don't be afraid to message me about when you think is best.

Hey all! I hope everybody's break went well and you're all ready to get back to some fencing! We'll start on the same schedule as last semester of MR 6:30pm in the upstairs racquetball courts of Johnson gym. Hurray! I'm pleased to announce our first official practice of the semester will be starting on Monday, October 2nd at 6:30pm-8:30pm. Our tentative meeting place for now will be in the upstairs racquetball courts in Johnson gym (the same as it was last semester; near the entrance from Johnson field).
