Today’s race report is going to be given by Owens mom. Owen took off to Memes house for the night and we didn’t get a chance to do it earlier.
Mud races have never been Owen’s strong point. We followed suit from last years mishap. Last year we blew the motor and transmission last race of the season. Mud race.
Today, we burnt up the clutch.
But in comes dad. He was able to cobble together 2 clutches to make one to HOPEFULLY get Owen through tomorrow.
He is ordering what we need to have it CORRECTLY fixed by next race.
Owen rode like hell tough, he learned how to use tear offs today, thank you for the new to us goggles Don Sanders. They worked great!
He did end up having to switch out goggles 2 or 3 other times.
Thank you to meme for taking everything home and washing everything for tomorrow for us.
For not getting as much seat time between races as I wanted him to get. I couldn’t be more happier for my boy.
He ended up getting 3rd in his class, 14th overall.
(We only got the video of him because it was raining during his entire race.)
