3 years ago this month Albany Hornets Wrestling hosted its first “Interest Camp.” Since that time the program has produced a 2 time state champion and multiple state placers!!! Special thanks to all who have poured in and contributed to this program’s success! Students come be part of something special! Shout out to our very own Savannah Camarata on proudly representing Team Louisiana at Women’s National Duals! She completed the competition with a 4-2 record against the top athletes from across the country and led the team as captain to Team Louisiana’s first-ever wins in national duals matchups.

Tonight Albany Hornets Wrestling was honored to receive a $2500 Sports Matter Grant from Dicks Sporting Goods at Dicks House of Sport in Baton Rouge! They definitely laid out the red carpet and made us feel welcome. They fed us Chick-fil-A and we had a blast in batting cages and climbing the rock walls! This grant will bring us another step closer in our big goals of a competition mat and bringing this team to even higher heights!!!
