On behalf of the Otero County Roadrunners Organization, we want to honor Chris Johnson. Your impact has always been greater than football. You inspired generations to dream bigger, work harder, and never stop believing. Through this game, you’ve built relationships, created lifelong memories, and changed countless lives—many you’ll never even know.

As you continue your fight against ALS, know that you are not fighting alone. An entire football family is standing beside you, lifting you up in prayer. We pray that God’s healing hands rest upon you, strengthen your body, fill your heart with peace, and surround you and your loved ones with His unfailing love and grace.

Today, the Otero County Roadrunners proudly completed the Ice Bucket Challenge in your honor—not only to raise awareness for ALS, but to pay our deepest respects to a true football legend whose influence reaches far beyond the field.

Legends aren’t remembered because of how fast they ran or how many yards they gained. They’re remembered because of the hope they gave, the lives they inspired, and the legacy they leave behind. Chris Johnson, your legacy is forever.

🏆🏆🏆 THREE-PEAT CHAMPIONS! 🏆🏆🏆

The Otero County Roadrunners have done it again, defeating the Bombsquad in an instant classic, 24-18, to capture the 2026 D.M.F.L. Championship and complete the THREE-PEAT!

This championship wasn’t easy. The game went into THREE OVERTIMES, testing the heart, determination, and resilience of every man who stepped onto that field. We faced adversity, battled through our own mistakes, and refused to quit. When the moment demanded toughness, these men answered the call and found a way to finish the job.

This organization is built on more than football. We are on a mission to set the standard for brotherhood, commitment, and resilience. Every player, coach, volunteer, and supporter has played a role in building a culture that refuses to back down from challenges.

We want to give a special thank you to every man who sacrificed his time, effort, and dedication to this organization throughout the season. Championships are won through countless hours of hard work, and this title belongs to every member of the Roadrunners family.

The Otero County Roadrunners put on a statement performance this weekend, dominating the Arizona Barbarian Sports All-Stars with an impressive 38-8 victory!
