Man, when I tell you I’m proud of this team and proud to be their coach I mean it.

These boys showed up this morning and proved they belonged. The odds were stacked against us, and they still came out and competed the right way.

We all knew what the championship game was going to be. We fell just short, 3–1, and had a couple costly errors but clean those up, and that’s our game.

What matters most? These boys showed heart. They showed grit. They never backed down.

First year together, with only two true 10-year-olds… and this 10U team is already knocking on the door.

Mark my words once it all clicks, this group is going to be tough to beat.

Proud is an understatement. The future is bright. ⚾🔥

Game 1 on Sunday started with a bang! 💥
These boys showed up with a chip on their shoulder and proved we should’ve been that #2 seed.

Swamp Donkeys come out on top 10-4 hot bats, high energy, and straight fire all around. 🔥

Now it’s time to lock in… next up, we’re coming for that Gainesville team.

Hard work beats talent when talent doesn’t work hard. ⚾

Swamp Donkeys Tournament Update ⚾🔥

The Swamp Donkeys kicked off round robin play bright and early at 8 AM and showed up ready to compete. We battled a strong Gainesville squad and kept it tight, falling 6-3. A few costly fundamental errors made the difference but clean that up, and that’s a game we win any day of the week. They earned the #1 seed, and we proved we belong in that conversation.

Game two, the boys answered. 💪
Big response against a tough Keystone Heights team with an 8-4 win. That’s resilience. That’s growth.

We finished with a positive run differential one of only two teams to do so (including the #1 seed). Unfortunately, runs allowed ended up being the deciding factor, placing us as the #4 seed heading into tomorrow.

And that’s all the motivation we need.

These boys have a chip on their shoulder, they’re locked in, and they’re coming to prove a point. We believe we earned that #2 spot and now we get to go take it the first spot 💪🏻

Business isn’t finished. Let’s go get that ring. 🫏🔥
