Starting July 1, 2026, Florida law (Second Chance Act) requires student-athletes to undergo an Electrocardiogram (ECG/EKG) screening before participating in FHSAA-sanctioned sports. This applies to all incoming 9th graders and any student-athlete in grades 10–12 participating for the first time.

Check out this upcoming opportunity to get your EKG at no cost.

🖐️ PRIOR to LAX tryouts, no exceptions, you must:
1. Download the Physical Form to take to your doctor to fill out:https://fhsaa.com/documents/2025/7/17/EL2_form_2025_07_.pdf
2. Then login/make an account to upload the form on the "Online Athletic Clearance Registration" site:
https://athleticclearance.fhsaahome.org/
(You will receive a clearance email in a few days for your daughter, it is not immediate, so plan ahead! If your daughter has already played a sport THIS YEAR, just make sure that you have added Lacrosse to your account online too)
