The beginning of a legacy started this weekend with Zips Motorsports! Our team officially made its Collegiate Racing Series (CRS) debut at Round 2 at NCM Motorsports Park with our #23 car, Gail 🦘🌪️

With less than two weeks to assemble our Spec‑ND Miata, this weekend was an incredible chance for our drivers and crew to learn, adapt, and show what we’re made of. An unfortunate penalty kept us just shy of hardware, but we gained valuable data, seat time, and experience throughout the weekend, something the whole team can be proud of.

A wind storm Saturday night sent tents flying, but teams came together to help keep each other, and the cars, safe. Another awesome reminder of the community that makes racing so special. 🫶

Gail unfortunately came home with battle scars, but the team’s already working to get her race‑ready again 💪
And finally, we owe everything to our sponsors and supporters. Whether cheering from home or standing alongside us at the track, your belief in our team made this debut possible. We’re BEYOND grateful for your trust, generosity, and commitment to Zips Motorsports. We are all thrilled to continue representing YOU proudly both on and off the track.

This weekend threw everything at us - adversity, chaos, highs, and lows. Yet through it all, the team battled on and came away stronger, proud of the lessons learned and growth earned.

Until next time, NCM
