From Playing high school varsity baseball, to playing 17u American Legion baseball, and Travel baseball with Havoc. That's where you will find this kid at even on his birthday weekend. He loves this sport and can play anywhere you put him at on the field. Happy 15th Birthday Blake, I hope you had a good weekend.

So I'm your Georgia - Carolina Havoc Head coach. My name is Kevin Freeland and here is a little info about myself and the little bit of coaching that I have done. I'm from up state New York and I have live in Aiken since 1994. My mom's side of the family has aways been into sports including my grandfather who played for the Brooklyn Dodgers. I played rec ball back home in New York, but after moving here I didn't play anything. I started coaching my oldest son at 4 years old, in 2015 Tee ball at the city of Aiken league. Then we moved on and started playing rec ball down in Jackson and I coached there from 2016 - 2017. In the fall of 2017 we went down to Belvedere to play fall ball. I started coaching there and we stayed at Belvedere where I not only coached but also joined the Board . Also while at Belvedere we made in to All-stars. In the spring of 2018 I was asked to put a tournament team together to play in a fundraising tournament. So i created Carolina Fire and we Won the whole tournament. Then the fall of 2018 i was asked again to put a team in a weekend Halloween tournament. So we mixed it up a little bit and went by the Reapers and we came in runner up. Then in 2021 while my son was playing travel ball, he made Top Gun All-Star team in Statesboro GA. I was the assistant coach and we won the whole thing against 6 other teams. Then 2022 i help put together a travel team called Aiken Punishers. After helping put them together my son moved on to play for the Aces. While with the ACES he made the 2023 USSSA All State All-Star team in Nov. 2023 and i was the head coach of that team. We went 3-1 in that tournament winning the whole thing to move on to the next step. Which was the Top 72 Prospects in Florida. Once again I got to be the head coach of this team. We went 2-2-1 winning the whole thing. Since then my son has played on the JV high school team at Silver Bluff, along with playing for the American Legion and becoming 2024 15u State Champions. This year as a freshman he made the Varsity Baseball team at Silver Bluff High School and here we are playing travel ball again in 2025 as Georgia - Carolina Havoc. I'm Looking forward to having a great and fun summer playing baseball!!!!!
