🏆 GAMEDAY RECAP & WHAT’S NEXT ⚽️

Huge shoutout to our boys soccer team for an exciting win over Bleckley County last night! The match went down to PK shootouts, and our guys showed composure, grit, and heart to come away with the victory. 💪🔥

Bryan Quintana found the back of the net with a goal in the first half, and Jordan Felts earned Man of the Match honors with an outstanding performance all over the field. 👏⚽️

Our girls team competed hard but came up short, falling 0–5. Proud of their effort and resilience — we’ll keep building and improving together.

Now we look ahead to our FIRST HOME GAME this Wednesday as we take on Brooks County! 🏠⚽️
Come out and support both programs as we defend home turf!

⚽ BOYS’ SOCCER TRYOUT INFORMATION – PLEASE READ ⚽

For any student planning to try out for the boys’ soccer team, ALL paperwork must be completed before tryouts.

✅ Dragonfly Account

All required forms must be completed in Dragonfly

The account must be created by a parent/guardian, not the student

✅ Updated Physical

A current physical must be on file.

📌 Missed the interest meeting?

If a student did not attend the interest meeting or has not reached out to me yet but plans to attend boys’ soccer tryouts, they must email me ahead of time so I can check eligibility and confirm all required materials are completed.

🚨 NO PAPERWORK = NO TRYOUT

Any player who shows up to tryouts without all required materials completed will be sent home and will NOT be allowed to try out.

The pictures attached are step-by-step instructions to the dragonfly.

Please take care of this early to avoid any issues.

⚽ High School Soccer Tryouts – Boys & Girls ⚽

Soccer tryouts are coming up soon for both our Girls and Boys high school teams! If you’re interested in playing this season, please review the details below carefully.

📅 Girls Tryouts: January 19th
📅 Boys Tryouts: January 20th
⏰ Time: 3:45 PM – 6:00 PM
📍 Location: High School Practice Field

👟 Players must bring all required soccer equipment:
Shin guards
Cleats
Running shoes

📄 Important Requirements:
An updated physical must be on file

All DragonFly paperwork must be completed by parents before tryouts

⚽️ Cook County Boys Soccer Announcement ⚽️

It’s that time again — Boys Soccer Conditioning officially begins Monday after school (3:30–4:45 PM)!

All athletes will meet in the weight room to get changed before heading out to the track. Conditioning will be held every Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday as we prepare for an exciting new season.

✅ Requirements to Participate:

A current physical must be on file. All DragonFly paperwork must be completed and approved.
(Players missing either of these will not be allowed to participate until everything is complete.)

⚽️ What to Bring:

Running shoes for conditioning. Cleats for on-field work.

We’re putting in the work now to build a strong foundation for what’s ahead. 💪 The 25-26’ season schedule will be released soon, and we can’t wait to show the Hornet community what’s coming!

🌟 THANK YOU! 🌟

We had an incredible two days at our Youth Soccer Camp! A huge thank you to all the parents who signed their kids up and trusted us with their time — we loved every minute coaching them and watching their joy on the field!
