🌟 Magnet Student Spotlight: Chris Chao 🌟
We are proud to celebrate an extraordinary accomplishment by one of our Senior Magnet students, Chris Chao, who officially earned the prestigious rank of Eagle Scout on June 18, 2026, as a member of Scouting America Troop 24 in Cartersville.
Eagle Scout is the highest rank attainable in Scouting America and is achieved by only a small percentage of Scouts nationwide. Earning this honor requires years of dedication, leadership, service, and personal growth through rigorous training, community involvement, and the completion of a significant service project.
Chris's journey to Eagle Scout reflects his commitment to serving others and leading by example. As part of his scouting experience, he has served as a Patrol Leader, become a member of the Order of the Arrow, and completed impactful community projects, including the Jackson House Landscaping Project and the Veterans Memorial Park Exercise Stations Project, both benefiting the Adairsville community.
Chris's achievements extend beyond Scouting - he has earned the Highest Achievement Award in AP Statistics, placed 2nd in the Georgia SkillsUSA Commercial Drone Team Competition, and has accumulated an impressive 660 service hours through the National Beta Club. He is also actively involved in athletics and community service initiatives.
When reflecting on his goals, Chris shared:
"I believe my purpose in life is to continue growing as a leader while making meaningful contributions to my community and the people around me."
Chris exemplifies the values of leadership, perseverance, service, and excellence that we strive to cultivate in our Magnet Program. We congratulate him on this remarkable achievement and look forward to seeing all he accomplishes in the future!
