VanDyke Racing Performance Professional race team helping drivers chase their dreams. Kres VanDyke is a NASCAR Whelen All-American Series race car driver from Abingdon, VA.

Kres began racing in 1998 at Lonesome Pine Raceway in Coeburn, VA, driving a Mini Stock at the age of 16, and won the Mini Stock championship in 2000 with a total of 15 wins. In 2001, Kres began racing Late Model Stock Cars, finishing third in final point standings and as runner-up in 2002 at Kingsport Speedway. Kres has recorded over 50 Late Model Stock car victories and track championship at Kin

gsport Speedway in 2014. Kres has also won two NASCAR Whelen All-American Series Tennessee state championships (2014 and 2016). Kres annually competes in the Valley Star Credit Union 300 at Martinsville (VA) Speedway – the season-ending Late Model Stock Car spectacle. Kres most always a top-running competitor – finishing in the top three twice.

P2 in final practice today at Hickory Motor Speedway for the CARS Tour Throwback Race. Have a super fast car, just it a little in qualifying, and after a long rain delay, Jake will be rolling off P24 out of a strong field of cars.

A huge congratulations to Jake on an awesome drive Friday night in the CARS Tour race. Bringing home a 3rd-place finish against such tough competition is something we’re incredibly proud of.
