Hey guys! 💕
It’s SENIOR night tonight and can I tell you something…?

Every year I write about how this one hits different and it’s hard to say goodbye.. but this one is actually different and I’m not really sure how to put into words what these 10 kids mean to me but I’m going to try.

This year these seniors are the ones who have been with me from start to finish, these athletes are the ones who taught me how to be a coach and have been with me through the ups and down from the very beginning.

I always talk about how we have “grown up” together and it’s true. They were there when I was still figuring out what kind of coach I wanted to be, and they gave me the opportunity to learn, grow and become the coach I am today. Watching these athletes grow up has been an honor and I’m so blessed that they took me in and trusted me to be their coach. You guys are not just 10 seniors walking across the field on senior night, you’re 10 huge pieces of my heart that I’ve learned to love like you’re my very own. Coaching you has been so much more than just teaching cheers, stunts and technique, it’s been watching you grow into the people you are today, getting to be apart of your lives and loving you along the way.

I hope that no matter where life takes you after this, you know that you will always belong here with us. I wish I could slow time down just a little bit to keep you here longer because I’m not quite ready to let you go, but I am so excited to see what you all end up accomplishing in life.

I love you, and I hope you’ve had as much fun on this journey as I have.
