FROM THE DUSTY PITCHES OF YUMBE TO THE BRIGHT LIGHTS OF FOOTBALL IN THE USA 🇺🇸⚽
The journey of Mimosa Yasir is a true inspiration for many young footballers coming from humble beginnings.
Yasir started his education at Yumbe Primary School before joining Aringa Secondary School for his early secondary studies. He later continued his education at St Joseph’s College Ombachi before finally completing his secondary level studies in Gombe high.
His football journey began in Yumbe town where his passion and talent for the game quickly became visible. He first played for Arua Hill Junior Team, gaining valuable experience and exposure at a young age. His impressive performances later earned him a move to Kochi Urban in the regional league where he continued to develop into a promising footballer.
Today, Mimosa Yasir is proudly flying the Ugandan flag high in the United States of America where he is playing university soccer and at the same time signed for a lower division side (Red Rivers Fc). The talented youngster has already featured in multiple games for his club featuring in their 2-2 draw against Hattiesburg fc. and continues to impress with his performances, hard work, and determination.
From Yumbe to the USA, Yasir’s story proves that dedication, discipline, and belief can turn dreams into reality. The future looks incredibly bright for the young star as he continues chasing greatness on the international stage. 🌟⚽
