The word pearl means treasure, precious. The place where the club exists happens to possess a bad ancesstoral name called Rackoko, this literally means do not regret, when you got there chances of returning were little. A small community but with a rich culture but passed through the horror of war, tribal, unforgiveness, separation of families inflicted by the Lords Resistance Rebels Army for over

20 years. the vision is to turn it into a city through sports by raising soccer giants in the area which already we are in the district and participating in leagues at various levels of club football and national championships.Pearl city believes in networking as key to achieve our mission and goals. We believe in friendships not based on tribe, religious inclination, race differences

The seed you planted may be buried in the ground but not dead but alive. Fan the flame and get back to life. God birthed a dream in every ones heart but few realised their dream others realised their dreams but distractions, disappointments, failures etc have made them not realise that dream hence the dream is buried. The hope I give y'all including my self, Pearl City FC, Kingdom Pearl Uganda is that the dream is not dead, it is alive and ignite the glow and grow to achieve it. lead, Honor, Prevail. Pearl City FC.

Yesterday Pearl City had their 5th game a way in Dokolo town with Moonberg FC. A game which started 5pm and not the actural Kick off time, also characterised by playing unlicensed players, unprofessionalism by the referees. Though Pearl made several shots on the weak goalie, conceded a late goal in the final mins. Pearl has filed petition to the organisers against the unlicensed players and generally the unfair treatment.

On Monday, Pearl City FC hosted Sporting United in Rackoko, Uganda. Pearl City scored first, midway through the first half, but Sporting United responded shortly after. The second half was scoreless, ending the game in a 1-1 draw. Each team is awarded 1 league point for the draw.

Pearl City looked strong competing against the seasoned and better-equipped Sporting United. Ball handling and passing were exceptionally sharp as Pearl City maintained ball possession for the majority of the game.

Many members of the community came out to support their team, and when Pearl City scored their first goal, the atmosphere was electric. Smiles, clapping and cheers filled the town as the players hugged and high-fived in celebration of their goal.

Just 7 years ago, Rackoko was an IDP Camp for those seeking refuge from the conflict in Northern Uganda. Now, in 2013, the community is home to a competitive regional football club. Monday's game was likely the most official sporting event the town has ever hosted, with FUFA (Federation of Uganda Football Associations) officials traveling to Rackoko for the game. It may have even been the most official, non-relief event to take place in the community. Regardless, a good time was had by all in attendance.

Pearl City's next game is Friday, when they travel to Lira to take on Lira United.

On June 27, 2013-30th Kingdom Pearl Football Club took part in the Zonal Mini-League in Otuke district. According to the Vice C/Person Zone 3 referees Association while reporting on Radio Rupiny. He exclaimed that the games were poorly organized as a large number of districts did not participate. This included Gulu district where the Chairperson of the Zone three resides. According to him the games would be cancelled. We were however happy to participate as the players were able to face more challenging teams to prepare them for the upcoming games in near future.
Apparently in the corner is the Back to School campaign organized by UNICEF in which Kingdom Pearl FC defending champions of the fourth division face Puranga FC Champions of the fifth division in Pader on the 16th of July.
The winner will take home a trophy and set of uniforms and balls.
On 17th of July, Kingdom Pearl FC will play in Gulu with other districts in a tournament organized by the former FUFA president Mulindwa Lawrence known as Denis Obua/David Otti Cup.
