We are in New York for the big week! It’s been a rainy day, but still enjoying the sites! We have the tennis US Open in one area of New York then you have MLP Major League Pickleball Finals in another! You can’t go wrong!!!

Heading home today after a great trip! We launched the level B courses with the Chinese Tennis Association and had a junior training camp with three different countries represented.
With so much focus on making money in this business, it’s been amazing to focus on simply the growth of the game and the development of coaches and players.
Quality coach development starts with good intention and good people.

Excited to be back in China! 🇨🇳

This week we’re working with the CTA on a coaches course and junior camp—continuing to grow the game through better education and development.

The last few months, I’ve been quietly working on some projects that I’m really excited to share soon.

After being around pickleball for a long time, one thing I’ve learned is that who we put in positions to lead matters. Good people. Good intentions. People willing to put the growth of the sport ahead of personal agendas.

I’m excited about what’s coming and the people I get to build it with.

And I couldn’t do any of it without my wife. ❤️ Every time I say I’m going to work less, I somehow add another project 😂—and she continues to support me every step of the way.

Grateful for her. Grateful for the opportunities. And excited for what’s next. 🌎🏓

Every year we have better and better tournament locations. To see where we started to where we are now is truly incredible. A few years back we were trying to get pickleball here and they were not ready yet. Here we are! Walt Disney World not quite in my back yard, but close enough that I can drive here🤣 Tune into Pickleballtv and FS1 today for all the best matches before the finals tomorrow! The last season event for MLP Major League Pickleball before playoffs.

The Beer City Open PB is one of my all time favorite events. It’s been around for 9 years and before tours were how they are now, we would find our way to Beer City. The facility keeps growing, the fans and much more. It’s one of the events that has the memories many of us love. Grand Rapids has some of the best pickleball out there. The people make this tournament what it is.
They have 600 volunteers for this! Working year round to make this event better and better. Very happy to see what Andrea Remynse Koop Paul Richards and their team have done over the years. I feel lucky to be a part of some of the origins here.
MLP Major League Pickleball teaming up with Beer City for this Mid Season tourney has been epic!
I had a blast from some of the best seats in the house. Loved seeing some familiar faces.
Mind you I found myself saying “I mean” way too much in the broadcast 😂 so that will be fixed for my next stop in Chicago 💨

If you find yourself in Grand Rapids a must stop is Belknap Park for some great pickleball.
